BEHIND THE LOGO

SALT draws its' meaning from Mathew 5:13 “You are the Salt of the Earth.”

As the salt of the earth, we are agents of flavouring. Our purpose is to bring the taste of Heaven to Earth wherever we go. Salt improves flavours as it seasons. In low concentrations, salt suppresses bitterness and enhances sweetness; in higher concentrations, salt reduces sweetness but enhances umami and savoury flavours. And the grainy look of the Logo symbolises the fine grains of Salt.

For Ana Laqeretabua as the founder of SaltIncFiji, the emerald green and mustard yellow reflect her warmth and love for earthy colours, her love for humanity and for building better communities, one person, one conversation, one community at a time.

The designs depict hands raised up - holding each other up so that we can all win as we navigate the complexities of life.
