FBC and Leaders LEAD Symposium (Salt Inc. Fiji)  Sign Strategic MOU to Advance Leadership Development Nationwide

The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) and the Leaders LEAD Symposium, presented by Salt Inc. Fiji, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, formalising a strategic partnership. The partnership aims to amplify leadership development and inspire a new generation of purpose-driven leaders across Fiji and the Pacific.

The Leaders LEAD Symposium is Fiji's premier annual leadership event, committed to people-centred, values-based leadership. The 2026 edition, scheduled for February 23–25, 2026, at the Sofitel Fiji Resort in Denarau, Nadi, will feature world-class international speakers and local leaders who will bring practical leadership insights and tools aimed at supporting the development of Pacific-based leaders.

The three-day program will equip participants to lead themselves, before they can lead others, and drive meaningful change. A key component of this is self-awareness, consistent growth, and clarity of vision and purpose.

The MOU signing marks a milestone in collaborative efforts to elevate leadership insights and understanding in Fiji. Under the MOU, FBC becomes the official media partner, delivering dedicated promotion, event coverage, speaker interviews, special features, and ongoing content to amplify leadership excellence nationwide.

"We thank Leaders LEAD Symposium through Salt Inc. for approaching FBC. This is something that is dear to our hearts. FBC is proud to partner with the Leaders LEAD Symposium to bring transformative leadership insights to every corner of Fiji. As a national broadcaster, we are committed to content that educates, inspires, and unites our people. This MOU allows us to extend the symposium's impact far beyond the event venue, helping shape a stronger, more values-driven leadership culture nationwide,” says Sitiveni Halofaki, Acting CEO of FBC.

Four local leadership practitioners are working together as Partners under the Salt Inc umbrella to run the 3-day event. Speaking on their behalf, Partner, Moses O'Connor shared, “Today is more than a signing ceremony. Today is a statement of intent. FBC is more than a broadcaster. FBC is a national storyteller. A trusted voice. A platform that informs, educates, and inspires Fiji—every day. This is why this partnership matters. Leadership conversations should not be confined to conference rooms or limited to those who can attend in person; leadership development must be accessible, visible, and shared.”

Leaders Lead Symposium believes that partnering with FBC positions both organisations as contributors to nation-building through leadership. Leadership is about influence, growth, and legacy. FBC and Leaders LEAD Symposium are committed to nurturing that leadership in every Fijian.
